Born and raised in California, I am a mechanical engineer by training. I like to express my personality through creative writing, photography, physical exercise and building personal projects to share with my close friends and family.   

This is my first website.  I think it will end up becoming a collection of hobby projects.  The motivation for creating it was a desire to learn something new.  I am big on that sort of thing.

Why a person does something is more important than what they decide to do.  This is colloquially expressed in phrases such as “it’s the thought that counts” when a gift misses the mark.  The idea being that we should focus on the kindness behind the action when the action itself appears peculiar.  That is where my domain name comes from. I hope that whatever odd thing you learn about me which disagrees with your own way does not cause too much frustration.  Believe you me, there are plenty of peculiar things that I do.
